I am a licensed clinical social worker at Fairfax Place Therapy. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, family dynamics, and multicultural stressors. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I approach all lived experiences with honor and a spirit of inquiry to identify the impacts of culture on well-being. As a first generation immigrant I have experience in working with people who may be facing challenges such as acculturation, power in identity and navigating familial and cultural changes.
My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address the challenges and celebrate the successes that life can bring through a collaborative process.
I am committed to empowering individuals, fostering resilience, and promoting mental well-being through compassionate, evidence-based modalities all while being person-centered and authentic. Every individual is unique, which requires therapy to be flexible, adaptable, and goal-oriented. Together we will navigate challenges, gain insight, and build effective coping strategies to foster long-lasting change. I utilize an integrative approach to best meet the needs of clients and their goals. I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI).
