Olá! I’m Victoria Solon (she/her), a bilingual student counselor offering therapy in English and Portuguese. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy with a specialization in the sexuality track. I offer therapy under supervision as part of my clinical training, with availability for in-person sessions in Portland, Oregon, and virtual sessions for clients anywhere in the state.
I moved from Brazil to the U.S. to pursue graduate studies and expand my ability to support people from different walks of life. As a Latina, Brazilian woman, my personal and professional experiences have taught me how powerful it is to hold space for people at different stages of their lives, carrying their own unique histories and cultural backgrounds. This journey has deeply shaped my commitment to practicing therapy with cultural humility, compassion, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Before graduate school, I worked in Brazil as a therapist with individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds. I understand how systems of oppression can shape how we experience ourselves, our relationships, and our pain. I strive to co-create a space that honors your full self and supports your journey on your own terms.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in dialogue. I practice from a social constructionist perspective, drawing primarily from Collaborative and Narrative Therapy. I believe therapy is a space for conversation, curiosity, and shared meaning-making, where your voice leads the way. Together, we can explore what matters to you, identify what’s getting in the way, and open space for new possibilities and ways of being. I strive to create a warm, respectful, and culturally responsive environment where your story is honored and new meanings can emerge, at your own pace and in your own words.
I am a sex-positive, kink-aware, and queer-affirming therapist who welcomes clients of all relationship styles and backgrounds. I create a space where your identity, intimacy, and cultural or spiritual beliefs are met with curiosity, respect, and cultural humility.
I especially enjoy working with people exploring complex or layered identities, such as Latinx/e and BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those unpacking the impact of family, religion, or culture on their lives. I welcome conversations around shame, boundaries, grief, emotional resilience, sexuality, and navigating cultural expectations.
I hold two international certifications that deeply inform my work: one in Narrative Practices and Communitarian Work (2021), and another in Collaborative-Dialogical Practices (2022). These approaches have taught me the power of listening, co-creating meaning, and honoring stories that resist dominant, harmful narratives.
If you’re seeking a space where you can be met with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. Therapy can be a place to explore, to question, to feel, and to transform, together.
