Anais is a licensed therapist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Her approach consists of an integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Training that helps individuals reflect on their readiness for change, and learn how to ultimately take action. As a bicultural and bilingual (English & Spanish) therapist who has worked with individuals from all walks of life, part of Anais’ therapy practice involves examining the cultural and social factors affecting individuals. She understands that therapy is not one size fits all, which is why she tailors her approach to help empower each client to make changes that align with their values and goals.
Anais specializes in working with adolescents and adults seeking support through everyday stressors and/or complex mental health issues. Much of her work has focused on treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, and multicultural identity issues. Additional experience includes treating individuals with a history of trauma and psychotic disorders. Throughout her work in both community mental health and private practice Anais has prioritized creating a safe space where clients can express themselves and find a new sense of hope.
