Hello dear human!
I’m Rysse, like Still I Rise.
Masters in Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Buddhist Psychology, Naropa University
Certified in Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy
I weave Buddhist teachings on liberation with an Indigenous, collective, intergenerational lens.
We begin each session with a guided meditation to ground and attune our nervous systems.
From there, the work unfolds intuitively as we navigate what wants to be witnessed, processed, moved.
With mindfulness we journey to decolonizing the mind.
With radical compassion, we shine a light to the places you do not have to navigate alone.
What We Can Tend To Together
Complex and intergenerational trauma
Depression
Dark night of the soul
Spirit loss
Susto
Anxiety
Grief and loss
Sexual assault
Karmic knots
Recurring patterns
Body liberation
Burnout
Background
I am a second-generation immigrant from Quisqueya. Born and raised in Washington Heights, NY. Hablo Español… and Spanglish claro!
