Hi, I’m glad you’re here!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern, and I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. As a proud Latina and first-generation college graduate, I understand the unique cultural values, expectations, and experiences that shape our stories. I believe therapy should honor your whole identity, your roots, your resilience, and your right to heal.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Houston. I bring not only clinical knowledge to our sessions, but also lived experience that informs how I hold space for you, with empathy, humility, and care.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and holistic, honoring the mind-body connection while helping you develop tools for real-life change. I create a warm and supportive environment where you can safely explore your emotions, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with your inner strength.
My Therapy Style
Clients describe me as gentle, intuitive, and grounding. I show up with authenticity and curiosity, and I invite you to do the same. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and build new pathways forward. My goal is to help you feel seen, empowered, and connected to your own healing process.
I use a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches, including:
Parts and Memory Therapy: Helping you gently process past experiences by working with inner parts and their protective roles.
Clinical Hypnosis: A calming and focused tool to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and shift stuck patterns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Addressing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve mood and resilience.
Solution-Focused Therapy: Centering on your strengths and goals to create meaningful progress.
Mindfulness practices: Supporting you in staying grounded and connected in the present moment.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with:
Individuals navigating cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and family dynamics
Women and femmes seeking healing around anxiety, self-worth, life transitions, and relationship concerns
First-generation professionals and students experiencing burnout, perfectionism, and pressure to succeed
Survivors of trauma, including emotional, physical, or cultural trauma
I believe that healing doesn’t mean forgetting our roots, it means learning how to reclaim our stories with pride, care, and self-compassion.
My Values as a Latinx Therapist
I entered this field because I believe our community deserves mental health support that is accessible, affirming, and grounded in cultural understanding. I strive to reduce the stigma around mental health in our families and communities by holding space with empathy, education, and respect.
I also understand that therapy can be unfamiliar or intimidating, especially if you’ve never seen someone like you in the therapist’s chair. That’s why I commit to showing up with humility, transparency, and a deep respect for your lived experiences.
