My work is centered in supporting people navigating struggles with self-worth and interpersonal relations due to life changes, relational and intergenerational trauma, immigration and acculturation stress, loss and grief, health/medical issues, work and academic stress.
I aim to build an authentic and intentional space with you, where you can connect, explore, rethink, elaborate for change and nurture growth.
Sessions can be focused on understanding yourself better, processing difficult moments, building awareness, improving communication, engaging authentically, questioning old patterns and finding new ways.
My approach is sincere, deeply reflective and affirmative, with empathetic challenging.
I integrate psychodynamic, humanistic, cultural-historical, relational and trauma-focused modalities to base care on your specific needs, taking into consideration the many factors influencing life, what you’ve been through, where you’re at and where you’d like to be.
As a clinician, I’ve been described as attentive, insightful, warm and humorous. I have lived and practiced in different cultural contexts, and am passionate about serving immigrant, international, BIPOC, neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ people.
Whether you are looking for a clinician with similar experiences to yours or a space to root yourself and focus on your process, I welcome you to reach and start our work together!
