About

Hey there! I'm Sam, a second-generation Latine Therapist. I'm thrilled you're here, and I'm excited to support you on your journey! One of my specialties is supporting bicultural and minoritized clients, by helping you explore your identity and break free from harmful generational cycles, especially within the context of first and second gen Latine experiences. I also specialize in supporting clients who may be experiencing family conflict, struggling with parental relationships, or dealing with the effects of childhood trauma or traumatic childhood environments. It is my mission to support you in addressing past wounds and cultivating healthier relationships, ultimately shaping a brighter future for yourself. In addition, I provide compassionate care for individuals who have experienced sexual and domestic violence.

I recognize the profound impact these experiences can have on your mental and emotional well-being. With empathy and respect, I will walk alongside you as you navigate your journey towards reclaiming your voice, embracing resilience, and fostering a sense of empowerment. I seek to empower my clients to actively engage in the therapeutic process and co-create a space where your voice is not only heard but valued. Our Latine culture highly values strength and perseverance, but it’s important to also recognize that vulnerability is a powerful trait deserving of equal celebration and appreciation. In our space, you are encouraged to honor every aspect of your authentic self and celebrate vulnerability in a way that feels right to you. Together, we will work towards breaking free from cultural expectations, embracing your true self, and trusting your inner voice. You are the expert of your own life, and I am here to provide guidance, support, and a compassionate presence along the way.

Please feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation and let's embark on this journey of growth and positive change together. Your growth and well-being matter, and I'm committed to supporting you every step of the way. Visit https://www.nourcounseling.com/contact or call (919) 213-1331 to get started!
