Cultural Identities

About Ruth Castro, ACSW

It’s challenging navigating life’s complexities. As a bilingual therapist, I use a trauma-informed approach to understand your perspective. As a Mexican-American woman, I bring a deep understanding of the cultural experiences of living in the US as a woman of color. Together, we’ll explore and discover the underlying roots of your mental conditions. I believe in providing compassion, warmth, and patience to foster healing and growth.

I am an associate clinical social worker practicing in Los Angeles. I completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago and have gained experience in various mental health settings, including residential treatment and community mental health agencies.

I provide individual and family therapy services. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is assisting clients in breaking unhealthy generational cycles. I encourage you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to begin your journey toward healing. Call 818–963-6727 to request therapy services with me. Book directly with me  here.
