About Rich Estrada, LMFT

Attention: I will be on leave and out of the office from May 20th to early July but welcome anyone to still contact me if interested in working together and I will return your message when I am back in the office.

Welcome to my profile and I am glad that you are here! I am a Latine and multicultural therapist with several years experience working with individuals and family members impacted by various addictive patterns, substance use and abuse, trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, self esteem and stress. My own substance use recovery of 13 years informs much of my work and practice. I also have experience working with couples or individuals dealing with various marital/relationship challenges including boundary issues, communication challenges and navigating conflict. My approach can be described as intuitive, warm and welcoming, compassionate, understanding, and client centered. In sessions, I utilize an integrated method of both talk and body oriented (somatic) approaches with clients informed by my psychodynamic, somatic and attachment training. I work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized plan to address your needs, taking into consideration who you are as a person by utilizing a variety of interventions tailored specifically to treat your individual needs.
