We are an out-patient clinic providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescent, adults and families. Our mission is to provide hope and inspiration to help people achieve their wellness goals. We also provide immigration evaluations to assist individuals and families who are going through the immigration process. Our areas of speciality include severe mental illness, depression and other mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and grief and loss. Our populations include children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We provide services throughout the State of California.

Norma Contreras (she, her, ella) is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She has over 3 years of experience providing clinical therapy. She utilizes an evolutionary psychology perspective to lessen feelings of shame & guilt. She identifies as a heterosexual, cisgender female of Latina descent/Chicana. Also, She is a trauma-informed LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. She utilizes a variety of techniques to help you reach your goals, including the most well-known modality Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), though she recognizes that CBT is not a "one size fits all". All of her clients are unique, therefore she tailors her approach based on their clients' needs using Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
