Embarking on the decision to commence therapy can be overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space to work through challenges in your everyday life. Working with clients for approximately a decade provided me with a deep understanding of how trauma does not just impact the individual, but the whole family system. A person’s trauma can also impact romantic, personal, and professional relationships. This can appear as ongoing depression and anxiety.
My approach to counseling is integrative, drawing from multiple techniques to suit each unique client relationship. I work collaboratively with clients to set goals and utilize the methods that best support their journey. I primarily lean towards a trauma informed, Psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused method.
