About

We all deserve a life worth living. I love working with women, immigrants, and adult children of immigrants, who need support in finding their voice and identity, or adjusting to and coping with life transitions. You might be stuck in self defeating patterns of thinking and behaving, unsatisfactory relationships, or feel like the past is present due to traumatic events. My approach is trauma informed, person centered and culturally affirming. If you are ready to explore your values & priorities, improve your mental health & overall quality of  life, therapy  can help. I was born and raised in Cuba and speak Spanish and English. I identify as a woman, Latina, immigrant , and mother. As a clinical social worker, I work from a person in environment lens, acknowledging your strengths, as well as intergenerational and systemic issues that may impact you. I am trained in evidence based modalities such as EMDR, CPT, PE, & DBT. Going to therapy demands vulnerability. I want to offer you a compassionate space where you can explore what you need to live an intentional , authentic life. The therapeutic relationship is key; we can explore whether my style and skills are the best fit for your needs.
