Life and people are complex-- I believe that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to therapy. Therefore, I integrate various theories and modalities of psychotherapy (Schema Therapy, DBT, multicultural feminist therapies, play therapies, to name a few) to inform my work with clients and families.

Traditional psychotherapies focus on the individual self. However, the systems we find ourselves in—whether it be family, school, work, or broader sociopolitical contexts— are just as relevant and important to the individual's functioning and well-being. My goal is to help clients process and contextualize their struggles, differentiate between what belongs to them and what doesn't, and make positive changes that are congruent with their values and authentic selves.

I approach the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for healing and growth. Sessions with me are collaborative and respectful; together, we will develop a unique direction and pace of treatment to best suit your needs.
