About Narolyn Mendez, Ph.D.

As an Afro-Latina bilingual clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journeys of healing, growth, and empowerment. My practice specializes in a wide range of concerns, including Latinx populations, gender-related challenges like women’s mental health—including reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum—health psychology, racial and cultural identity and trauma, psychological aspects of health, and helping people of color navigate high-powered careers while balancing personal aspects of their lives.
