M is a queer, non-binary, bilingual Latinx Social Worker from California currently working at Alpine Lakes Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center. The Denver Metro has been home to M for nearly a decade. They have been serving diverse underserved communities and their families for over 20 years. M’s clinical practice engages in trauma informed and strength-based perspectives. They integrate culturally responsive and humility tools for healing through the use of narrative therapy, somatic therapy, solution-focused and advanced motivational interviewing (not an exhaustive list). Their work centers with LGBTQIA+ BIPOC, Domestic Violence, Family Violence, Foster Care, Adoption, Immigrant & Refugee traumas. To co-elevate with community members intersectionality, resilience and journey toward healing.
