I am a bilingual (English, Spanish) licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC 13479) based in San Diego, California, and working with clients statewide via tele-health. My approach I utilize evidence-based treatments such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
I’ve worked with adults, children, college students, families, and couples, facilitating support groups for parents, children, and teens. My experience spans research, inpatient, outpatient, college, and private practice. Specializing in binge eating disorder, anxiety, and depression, particularly with adults.
For 10 years; I was incredibly fortunate to have trained under leading experts in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders at UCSD’s Center for Healthy Eating and Activity Research (CHEAR), known for cutting-edge research on eating disorders and behavioral weight loss interventions.
During our first session, we’ll create a space to help you ‘feel comfortable in the uncomfortable.’ Starting therapy can be daunting, but I’m here to listen, engage mindfully, and without judgment. My focus will be to understand why you’re seeking therapy and how I can best support you.
Cost per Session-Out of Network Benefits
I can help verify if you have out-of-network benefits. I use a service called Thrizer that automatically submits superbills for you and allows you to only pay a copay for my sessions, typically saving clients on average 70% of my full rate every session.Â
A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those who qualify. My goal is to make therapy as accessible as possible—I never want finances to be the reason someone can’t receive support. Flexible payment options are also available for those paying out of pocket.
