Hola & Hello! This is the introduction to my work as a therapist and beyond. My other identities include being a healer, a Tia, Queer, a fur mother, a lover of all the elements, a bibliophile, and a mentor. I help folx access their body and intuition to create lasting change in their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health that have been impacted by anxiety, depression, trauma, and other ordeals as an individual navigating various territories. Additionally, I am an Empowerment Self-Defense Instructor and I utilize much of the emotional, mental, spiritual and even physical self-defense techniques I have learned as part of our session or as part of extended self-healing. Guiding and helping people access their true self is my calling and is solidified now from being a practicing psychotherapist for more than a decade. Currently, I also provide clinical supervision to clinical associates and interns at a local community college which is another joy of mine. I take much pleasure in helping guide and mentor folx who will continue to empower and transform our future generations. My mission is also to destigmatize uncomfortable emotions and treat emotional pain. Other tools outside psychotherapy include the use of crystals and the Tarot. I would love to get to know you on your journey to help you find your true Self. Michelle Pereira, LCSW
