Hi and welcome. My name is Kimberly Rodriguez and I am a Latinx therapist who practices out of Long Beach, ca. My passion is to support teen and young adult women of color in their healing journey, with the overall mission to normalize and promote mental wellness in BIPOC communities through the pillars of social justice, empathy, inclusivity, humility and authenticity. When I am not providing therapy you can find me listening to podcasts, being a foodie while trying new restaurants, taking long walks and spending quality time with my people and fur baby. I’m also a huge proponent of anything wellness and enjoy massages and yoga. As a highly sensitive woman of color who is actively working toward breaking intergenerational trauma patterns, I am committed to this raw and important work. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative.I specialize in treating anxiety disorders,  depression, emotional dysregulation and support my clients with navigating relationship challenges, life transitions and self-esteem challenges.  I conduct a combination of various treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. Based on presenting concerns, my clients and I establish a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs. It is important to note that my goal is to support my clients in their healing process while also encouraging and empowering them along the way. I am down to earth, appreciate humor and strive to bring life into my sessions. Lastly, I believe that the rapport I have with my clients is one of the most vital components of treatment.
