I am multiracial and have experience working with diverse communities, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My training includes helping clients face unresolved trauma, grief, substance dependency, anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, and common thinking errors, as well as sex therapy. I practice compassion-focused and strength-based psychotherapy. I integrate Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance-Based Therapy, and Attachment-based Therapy looking at the connection between an infant and the primary caregivers. I am certified in Gottman Couples Training Levels 1 and 2. When appropriate, I utilize Transdiagnostic LGBT-Affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and gender-affirming care to address the unique stressors of the LGBTQ+ community and the client’s individual needs.
