Cultural Identities

About Judith Socarras, LCAT - Psychotherapist

My journey towards becoming a psychotherapist was born out of the experience of being an immigrant child growing up in the U.S. Originally from Cuba my story  is one of resilience, of reconstructing fragments and finding healing in my roots and my power in personal and collective liberation. With over 12 years of experience my approach in therapy is holistic and soulful. My lens is culturally affirming and anti-racist, working from a strengths based perspective to help you identify your resiliency story. I use mindfulness, somatic practices and creative arts interventions inviting you to explore culturally and spiritually relevant elements to you. With compassion, non-judgement, intuition and wisdom, I aim to support you in: empowering you to make changes; understanding your relationship with yourself and others; deep healing and transformation.
