Hello, my name is Jessenia. I'm a bilingual Latina therapist offering virtual services in Texas. I am the eldest daughter of Mexican and Salvadoran immigrants which means I have both personal and professional knowledge on the bicultural experience many Latine/x navigate. This also has provided me with a passion to serve others and work to increase access to mental health services. I have experience working in schools, college counseling centers, eating disorder treatment centers, and group private practice. As a therapist, I am committed to helping Latine/x individuals heal and thrive in their lives. My education and experiences center around offering assistance to the BIPOC community, with a specialty in Latine/x mental health concerns and adult children of immigrants. As a counselor, I assist my clients in navigating various challenges. Some of my clients work with me to understand themselves better and foster self-growth. Some of my clients are looking for a safe and secure space to process past trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and other personal challenges. Whatever brings you in, I prioritize creating an affirming space for you to feel understood and supported as we work together to achieve your goals. My practice also specializes in forensic psychosocial evaluations used for immigration cases.  I provide services for hardship waivers/cancellation of removal waivers, asylum, VAWA, U visas, and T visas.
