About Jennifer Rivera-Enriquez, LPC, TCYM-2, 200 hr-YT

I work with folx of all ages and am honored to work with BIPOC, people in the LGBTQ+ community, and people ready to dive into social justice issues. Our experiences and stories are complex and non-linear. My hope is that our work together will help you to untangle some of the layers and appreciate the twists and turns you’ve taken and the value they’ve added to your life and your story. The work may be hard at times but I believe tapping into and following your intuition and wisdom within will help to create the balance necessary to feel and live a fulfilled life. I strive to support individuals on their path to wellness, to embrace their value and self-worth, and to reach their goals to feel more fulfilled, both individually and in their relationships. Your therapeutic goals will be honored to direct our sessions as we work together. I aim to help clients find balance, love and value their self-worth, learn and practice positive coping skills and to embrace their power within. I welcome clients into a compassionate space that honors their journey and experiences as unique individuals. It is equally important to explore how our cultural backgrounds influence our life stories, so this is often woven into my work with clients as well. In addition to “traditional” talk-therapy, I utilize a variety of techniques including art, role-play, experiential, yoga, mindfulness and play. In all stages of life, YOU are worthy of joy and (self) love. You can do hard things – you’re an expert in this, I’m sure – and you don’t have to do it all on your own.
