About Jen Vazquez, LMFT

Bienvenidxs! I identify as a bilingual Mexican-American woman and I focus on working with Latinx women. My practice is focused on women who are experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, stress, codependency, relationship issues, and mother wounds.  I work collaboratively with my clients to deepen their awareness through somatic techniques, mindfulness, and reflective activities. We will work on identifying supports and building on useful coping skills as we work through generational trauma and learn boundary-setting, communication skills, and managing emotions. My primary focus is on building a solid relationship with you, my client, to provide such a space where you can feel comfortable enough to show up raw and authentic. I believe that growth happens when we dig deep into the mind, body, and soul. The journey towards healing is not always comfortable, but I am here to hold space for you and meet you where you are.  We will work together to create practices and tools that you might need in and out of sessions. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation in which we discuss fees, scheduling, your reasons for seeking counseling, my approach, and any questions you may have. Jen Vazquez, LMFT
