About Isabel Castanon, MS, LPC, NCC

Hola,

I’m Isabel Castañon, a proud bicultural first-generation Latina and the founder of Desert Bloom Behavioral Health Services. Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to connect with a wide range of clients and provide culturally sensitive care, something that is deeply important to me. My passion for mental health stems from witnessing how transformative compassionate support and effective therapy can be in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner resilience.

With extensive training and experience in mental health counseling, I specialize in supporting individuals facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I have also been honored to work with diverse populations, such as adolescents, veterans, older adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and those navigating terminal illnesses.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered care and existentialism, blending empathy and understanding with a focus on exploring meaning, purpose, and self-discovery. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel truly heard and supported. Through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based practices, I am committed to helping individuals grow, heal, and thrive as they navigate their unique paths toward well-being. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey of blooming into their fullest potential.
