Hola! I believe we all have unique stories and healing paths. My approach to healing is to encourage you to unlearn & challenge deep rooted childhood patterns & maladaptive beliefs that you are undeserving of love and nurturing relationships. I would be honored to provide you with a safe place to tell your story and and challenge these beliefs. I have so much admiration and gratitude for you and your willingness to begin your healing.

My name is Irene Nunez, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I grew up in Inglewood, CA in a Cuban and Mexican American household. During these youthful years, my passion towards social justice and helping others began.  I myself struggled with anxiety during these years and decided to make it my life's goal to become an empathetic listener and advocate for individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. In order to do so, I have become a strong advocate for taking steps towards decolonizing and destigmatizing how we view and participate in therapy in the mental health field. I believe my approaches are aligned with those of holistic therapy and healing practices. I have taken and continue to take several steps in integrating this into my practice.

My focus is to help women who are cycle breakers to begin their healing journey, energize, reprocess traumatic events, break patterns of intergenerational trauma, connect with their inner child/inner ancestor and become aware of their inner warrior strengths. These populations include and are not limited to: tweens, adolescents, young professionals, mother's and other therapists.

One of my unique specialties is working with moms in various stages of motherhood: perinatal, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. My focus is to help the mommas I work with identify how past trauma & attachment wounds are resurfacing during all stages of motherhood. I help moms learn how to reparent themselves, process birth trauma, pregnancy, postpartum depression and anxiety.
