Hello, my name is Idania, I am first generation college student and daughter of Mexican immigrants. I received a bachelor's degree in criminology from University of Laverne and a master's degree from Loma Linda university in Marital and family therapy. Since I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I also wanted to understand why some people struggle so much and what makes people happy. I have extensive experience working with teenagers and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. I currently focus on clients that are experiencing postpartum depression, generational issues and family conflict. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, Bowen family systems and gestalt interventions primarily but cater to each client unique needs.
