About Georgina Haro, LCSW, PMH-C

**Currently my caseload is full, please reach out if seeking referrals or would like to be added to my waitlist**   Our bodies carry a multitude of experiences, memories, and traumas. Sometimes the things o ur bodies carry start to impact us in ways we never expected. As a bicultural, bilingual Mexican American therapist I am aware of the various barriers that may stop us from engaging in our own healing journey. For this reason, I have a passion for working with clients who are navigating the pressures and expectations that come along with being first-generation, transitions throughout the perinatal period, breaking generational trauma and clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. I utilize a mix of approaches that include mindfulness, breathwork, grounding, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients form a deeper understanding of the connection between mind, body, and emotion. I honor the importance of a strong, therapeutic relationship and I am always grateful to be a part of a clients’ journey in becoming more connected to their authentic selves. I aim to create a safe, therapeutic space in which clients feel heard and validated. I am passionate about making services accessible and provide sessions in both English and Spanish.
