Emely Romero is an English and Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Emely has five years of experience as a Social Worker working with children and families in various community settings. As a first generation Mexican American, Emely is passionate about supporting the individuals within her community and providing culturally responsive care. Emely is passionate about providing accessible care to her community. Emely also works for the Colorado Perinatal Mental Health Project as a Group Facilitator for The Birth Squad, offering free postpartum support groups.
