Hola, my name is Elsie Rojas and I am a first-gen and eldest daughter doing the work in navigating my own bicultural identity and helping those on a similar journey. Being raised Mexican for me meant that the chances of having a conversation about mental health was not likely, much less learning how to express my emotions and/or stand up for myself. Time was spent learning to follow the rules and expectations of others, but I am here to help you find your chosen values and learn that you are just as deserving of the energy you put in to others.
