I believe in the power of therapy as an ancient practice. I may be the healer you seek if you’re looking to work with a therapist who can center your experience as an individual with lived knowledge, strengths, and challenges. I became a psychologist to fulfill my life's calling while also increasing the number of racial/ethnic mental health providers available to the community. I am proud to be one of few doctoral level Afro-Latina psychologists in the field of psychology and sole owner of my virtual private practice.

I am honest, transparent, genuine, gentle, empowering, and authentic. I bring myself as a cultural being into my work and am in ever ongoing process of decolonizing my clinical processes. In addition to providing therapy, I continue to engage in producing research and providing service to the field of psychology. It is critical that individuals feel safe, supported, and heard in therapy. I utilize a collaborative approach interwoven with skill building and necessary support to help individuals live their best life. I create a space of affirmation and truth telling, something that can be hard to come by in everyday life, yet so critical for healing. My therapy services are private pay and offered completely via tele-health (HIPAA compliant video conferencing).
