About Dr. Laura Minero, Latinx LGBTQ Psychologist(She/Her)

As a 2-SQT/LGBTQ+ Affirming, Anti-Racist, Trauma-Informed, Intersectional, and Liberation-Based therapist, I acknowledge that systemic harm, like white supremacy, generational trauma, and the violence and abuse that is perpetuated by trauma and oppression can have deep, lasting scars that that impact our relationships with ourselves and others. I help individuals RECLAIM their ancestral wisdom & trust their own intuition. I believe our own healing and liberation has the ability to heal our lineage and communities by disrupting cycles of intergenerational trauma.  Healing happens in relationship and in community. Hence, at Yolotl Libre,  I view therapy as a sacred exchange of energy that can help you learn more deeply about you heart, mind, body and spirit and how they are interconnected.   By establishing a trusting relationship, I help identify patterns that may be contributing to current stressors in your life. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life, I serve as a gentle guide that helps you identify and OWN your strengths that can aid you in amplifying your healing. I hope you join you on your healing journey.
