As a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Psychologist (CA PSY 34088), I have developed expertise in ADHD, trauma-informed practice, and Latine/x mental health. My work is rooted in multiculturalism and serving as an agent of social change. I am a Maryland native and daughter of Peruvian immigrants. Growing up, I lived in poverty, watched my father be deported, and observed some of my peers become stagnant in obtaining higher education because of documentation status while I advanced as a first-generation college student. My personal experiences have inspired my passion for providing culturally competent behavioral health services. As a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Psychologist, I have developed expertise in adults with ADHD and Latine/x mental health. The mission at J.C. Psychological Services is to foster holistic mental well-being by offering exemplary therapy services for adults with ADHD. Through evidence-based practices and trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approaches, the aim is to empower clients to navigate their healing journey with perseverance and self-compassion. Therapy is a safe space where I have the privilege of joining my clients in their life journey and assisting them in developing the skills necessary for them to live a more organized and fufilling life!
