Cultural Identities

About Dr. Indra Gonzalez, Clinical Psychologist

Hello, I am a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about cultivating a genuine therapeutic relationship with my clients, where they can feel seen, safe, and empowered. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I understand that clients and their families have unique experiences, values, and identities that influence their perspectives. I have experience working with mental health concerns across the lifespan. I have worked in various settings and received extensive trauma-informed training. These experiences have sparked my interest and passion for working with individuals affected by complex trauma and understanding trauma’s impact on an individual’s interpersonal neurobiology.

As a bilingual, bicultural and culturally humble clinician, I seek to incorporate these individualities and considerations throughout the treatment process. I support clients and their families in making sustainable changes that align with their values and goals. I utilize a process-oriented and relational approach to therapy with core foundations in psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and a systems theoretical framework.   –Dr. Indra Gonzalez, Clinical Psychologist
