Hola! My name is Dharla and I am a firs-gen Latina and an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am from Mexicali Baja California and come from a migrant community. I resonate deeply with folx who are struggling to find their space in a new country while training to remain connected to our cultura. I am passionate about helping first and second gen folx struggling with family of origin issues, identity development, and bridging the gap to address mental health in our community. I am a registered substance use disorder counselor and have experience working with trauma, dual diagnoses, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+, and relationship issues. I wholeheartedly believe that seeking support is an act of self-love and strive to create an inclusive, affirming, and warm environment.
