About

I believe that the first step to helping people with the unique challenges that bring them to therapy is to build a connection founded on compassion, collaboration, and respect. To me, the therapeutic relationship acts as the foundation of a successful treatment plan. My goal is to act as support and encouragement as you face challenges, heal, seek out positive change, or search for a deeper understanding of yourself.

I have worked with individuals of diverse cultural/ethnic/religious backgrounds and utilize a culturally sensitive approach to tailor the sessions to their unique needs. My experience has been working with adults who are facing challenges such as: depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, career changes, life transition, grief, anger management, self-worth and self-esteem issues. As a bilingual therapist, I can provide services in either English or Spanish while utilizing a dynamic style of treatment that combines aspects of CBT, talk therapy, person-centered therapy, art, writing, goal setting, meditation, and more.

I am a believer in the mind-body connection and utilize tools related to mindfulness and empowerment that can be incorporated into daily living. I am available to help you get to know yourself, love yourself, and navigate positive change in your life.
