Cultural Identities

About Corrin Crain, LMFT

The beauty of therapy is its ability to offer fresh lenses through which to see the world, while highlighting the strengths present within. I aim to support you in challenging the patterns that are no longer serving you. My practice is founded on the principal that therapy is not “one-size-fits all.” Your individualized perspective and intersections of who you are and what you have experienced must be understood and honored. I am passionate about the power of the therapeutic process and helping individuals and families find hope and healing. I will guide you in taking practical steps to create positive and manageable change. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults and families living with depression, anxiety, trauma, and challenges in relationships. I have significant training and experience providing culturally competent care to marginalized communities. I also worked in intensive care settings supporting folks struggling with self-harm and suicidal ideation. I aim to de-construct stigma and shame and provide a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment to empower you towards healing.  I am excited to work with you, no matter your background and identities. You can be assured that I intend to listen, objectively and without judgment. Please feel free to reach out for a complimentary consultation. (858) 727-8498
