About Christian Ledezma, LPC

Christian Ledezma, LPC, a therapist at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop, prioritizes creating a secure, empathetic environment for patients embarking on their therapeutic journey. As a first-generation Mexican American, Christian is deeply dedicated to supporting minority and marginalized communities by promoting therapy’s accessibility and education. With a rich background addressing diverse issues including racial identity, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, men’s concerns, and life transitions, Christian offers specialized insight and cultural sensitivity to Hispanic and Latino individuals. Fluent in Spanish, he ensures language is no barrier to receiving the necessary support for growth and healing. Christian specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. His therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused interventions. Recognizing each person’s uniqueness, Christian collaborates with his patients to tailor treatment plans to their specific needs. With a Master of Education in Human Development Clinical Counseling from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dartmouth College, Christian brings a wealth of academic expertise to his practice. As a part of the Relief clinical team, he works closely with other providers to ensure comprehensive care, including options like transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO® and IV ketamine), or medication management, if required.
