About

If you are dealing with the effects of trauma, anxiety, or depression, sometimes having someone that understands you can get you through the toughest times. We've all found ourselves standing on a road we didn't plan, wondering how we got to where we are. If you're tired of holding on, can't let go, or can't move on, listen to that still small voice within and show up. You are not alone. I will be right beside you every step of the way.

Decolonize your wellness through the intersection of creativity, psychology, and ancestral wisdom. You can heal your lineage by understanding generations of dynamics, trauma, and strengths. I offer sessions using an intuitive, holistic approach to therapy. Depending on your needs I hold sessions in English, Spanish, or Spanglish, and use a blend of meditation, creative expression, and ritual to focus on your personal and ancestral history. Together we can fortify your strengths, cultivate a centered approach to life, and find acceptance and wholeness.

I am a Chicana, an artist, a creative soul, and a wounded healer. Through decades of work on this path, I have grown from feeling frightened and small, to feeling free and empowered. My personal healing has been a luminous process of finding mentors, healers, teachers, and ultimately, myself. This has included creating art, reconnecting with my spirituality, studying meditation, neuroscience, psychology, and learning about the ancient healing practice of Curanderismo. My creative, spiritual, and academic paths have converged to support the reclamation of my family’s healing lineage and inform an approach to healing that pulls ancestral knowledge and contemporary psychology to reclaim the ancient wisdom in new ways. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Art Therapist, and have training in Trauma Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Latino family therapy, transpersonal therapy (Spiritual Depth Psychology), yoga, mindfulness, and breath work.
