Taking the first steps to start the therapeutic process can be anxiety provoking. As a clinician, I strive to establish an environment in which clients feel comfortable, safe, and free of judgment. I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience to become their best self. In an effort to do so, I aim to help clients recognize and focus on their strengths, recognize nonadaptive patterns, and help guide them to deeper levels of awareness. Therapy is a collaborative process and I am dedicated to working together with clients to set up and meet their goals. I am also dedicated to meeting each unique client where they are at.

My experience is primarily grounded in Psychodynamic Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my therapeutic work. As therapy is not “one size fits all,” I strive to know my clients on a deep level and to apply my broad knowledge of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client.

As a first generation Mexican American woman, I understand the importance of mental health and societal pressures in marginalized communities. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.
