I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have practiced for 14 years.

I am Latina, bilingual Spanish and English speaking, first-generation, Mexican American. I am a daughter to immigrant parents.

I began my private practice, Raíces y Heart Therapy, because of the need for cultural humility and a trauma informed approach to therapy for marginalized, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

I provide EMDR therapy and integrate EMDR Therapy into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) amongst other evidenced based practices as well as mindfulness practices.
