Hi, I’m Andres, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner strength and sense of self. I believe that everything you need to heal is already within you—and therapy can be the space where that discovery begins.
My approach is grounded in warmth, compassion, and trust. I draw from Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory to help clients explore how life experiences, relationships, and cultural systems have shaped their core beliefs and sense of identity. Together, we’ll work to rebuild self-trust and create space for healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
I specialize in working with individuals with intersecting identities (LGBTQ+, People of Color, and other marginalized identities) in navigating issues related to identity, anxiety, trauma, self-worth, and life transitions. I bring a deep awareness of how systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and societal pressures can impact mental health and the way we move through the world. In therapy, I aim to offer a safe, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself, I’m here to support you on your path toward healing and authenticity.
“You can become your own healer—the special person your vulnerable parts have been waiting for.” -Richard C. Schwartz
I am supervised by Monica E Williams LPCC 8952 at Freestyle Therapy.
