I was born in a small town in Michoacan, Mexico, near the migratory landing home of the monarch butterflies. My journey brought me to Central America, northern Mexico, the rainy Oregon coast and finally to Oakland California. The Bay Area has been my home for the last 28 years. I have many years of experience providing therapy services in Spanish in the  Latinx/Latiné community.  My lived experience has give me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by immigrants and their families related to racism, culture conflict, trauma, resilience, spirituality and healing.

I create a compassionate, non-judgmental and welcoming space to help clients uncover and maximize your own strengths, make life changes and achieve better health and wellness.  I can support clients to: Get unstuck, Manage stress, Find healing, Navigate cultural identity, Build confidence and self esteem, Find solutions for problems, Set and reach goals, Adjust to life changes, Break free from shame or guilt, Develop coping strategies, Process grief and loss, Address relationship or family conflict, Explore healthy masculinity, and Learn self acceptance.
