I am a Bilingual clinician (English and Spanish) and I have a rich experience in direct clinical practice and clinical supervision. I have worked with people experiencing homelessness, at-risk young adults, and individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health issues. I hold an LCSW licensure and have training in evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, problem solving treatment, illness management recovery, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am forward-thinking, innovative, and dedicated to the social service and mental health fields. My goal as a clinician is to heal, inspire, nurture, and promote emotional wellness for all. Sessions are grounded in talk therapy and can incorporate writing, role-playing, progressive muscle relaxation, taking inventory of symptoms and triggers, discussing relationship issues, exploring past traumas and reframing and recreating the client’s story. My goal is to support every client with developing self-awareness while strengthening their skills of self-efficacy. I honor each client’s right to self-determination and provide an emotionally safe space for them to explore themes as they are ready to do so. I am also entuned with clients cultural and spiritual needs which supports safe exploration.
