  • Welcome Message

I am a bilingual licensed clinical social worker. I identify as a Chicana/Latinx Cis woman and specialize in working with Latinx identified, Spanish speaking/bilingual individuals. I believe therapy should be accessible, a safe space and culturally relevant. I refrain from diagnosing and other labels. People are so much more than a billable diagnosis. My approach to therapy is holistic. I am guided by intersectionality (the connections between class, race, sexual orientation, religion, creed, disability, gender) and how that in turn shapes every individuals mental health journey. As an older millennial, I also integrate social media and pop/meme culture into my practice. I borrow from traditional modalities and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Fancy jargon aside, my focus is always on the person, their needs, strengths, supports and goals.
