  • Welcome Message

Therapy should be accessible, culturally relevant and most importantly, a safe space. My approach is holistic. I am guided by intersectionality (the connections between class, race, sexual orientation, religion, creed, disability, gender) and how that shapes every individuals mental health journey. I work to dismantle outdated and inaccessible concepts of therapy and create services that speak your language and culture. I am bilingual, a daughter of immigrant parents and the first in my family to have had access to college and graduate studies. Because of these lived experiences and as an older millennial, I offer a unique perspective as a therapist of color to your own therapy journey. I borrow from traditional modalities and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. However, as an older millennial, it is inevitable that I will incorporate social media, pop/meme culture into my practice and tailor therapy for the culture. My focus is always on your needs, strengths, supports and goals. I am a Chicanx/Latinx Cis woman. My pronouns are She/Hers. I specialize in working with Latinx identified individuals and people of color. I have an even stronger passion for working with young women of color who may not have access to culturally relevant therapy services.
