  • Welcome Message

Hola, mucho gusto; thank you for visiting my profile! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. My work specializes in serving children, adolescents, families and Maternal Mental Health. My office is located in Pasadena, and I provide bilingual sessions in both English and Spanish.
I am an active member of the Postpartum Support International (PSI). More specifically, I currently serve as PSI's Spanish helpline coordinator and have attended trainings in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. In addition, I am faculty of the Maternal Mental Health NOW training committee, and our mission is to increase awareness of maternal depression, the impact in the whole family system, and decrease barriers to screening and access to treatment.
My journey as a psychotherapist began since 2016 though my curiosity in supporting others goes back many moons ago. I consider myself having empathetic and nurturing qualities that foster interest in relationships, feelings, spirituality and experiences.
I earned my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016 and have provided individual, parent-child dyadic, family, couples therapy, and psycho-educational group services to families across the life span, race, gender, and ethnicity. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, warm and welcoming space to shed all that is blocking you to achieve your highest potential and develop emotional competence. In addition, my therapeutic framework includes a trauma-informed lens that explores historical socio-political systems have had a negative impact in the individual and could have intergenerational effects.
I strongly believe that psychotherapy has many benefits. It allows you to discover more about your individual differences, to explore and channel your gifts and energy, to foster resiliency, to build a secure and loving relationship with yourself and others, to feel and be connected with yourself as a whole, and integrate the cultura in your healing journey.
