  • Welcome Message

Hello! I am a psychologist licensed in Oregon and Georgia. I provide culturally-sensitive, insight-oriented psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups. I have a passion for helping Latinx folks establish more satisfying, authentic relationships with others and with themselves. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, therapeutic environment that fosters well-being, healing, and growth. I strive to establish a collaborative, empowering atmosphere that strikes the balance between support and challenge. My style is generally warm, direct, and transparent. I am an empathetic listener and actively participate in sessions by sharing my observations, fostering insight, and sharing practical feedback to help my clients find relief and to effectively address the challenges of life.

Professional Expertise: Trauma recovery (childhood abuse, sexual assault, and relationship violence), Race-based Stress and Trauma, Relational Concerns (trust, intimacy, closeness), Cultural/Ethnic Identity concerns, and Gender Identity concerns. I also specialize in group psychotherapy and offer ongoing, long-term psychotherapy groups.

I have a personal and professional interest in diversity (cultural, ethnic, racial, gender, & sexuality) and social justice issues. I am passionate about working with Latinx folks and I welcome the opportunity to provide culturally-responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. I strive to be sensitive to the unique needs of marginalized groups including gender and sexual minorities. My practice is sex-positive and trauma-informed.

I integrate various psychotherapeutic methods and theoretical orientations in my practice, working primarily from insight-oriented theoretical perspectives that emphasize the authentic relationships, individual strengths, and the potential for growth. Specifically, I have been heavily influenced by interpersonal, psychodynamic, and existential-humanistic theories, as well as multicultural,
