  • Welcome Message

Hola!! Thank you for checking out my profile! A little more about me: I am a therapist, social worker, and passionate advocate for challenging mental health stigmas in communities of color. I believe therapy is an amazing tool for self-empowerment and strive to make sure everyone who seeks services with me, finds access to what they need. I am an LA native with a heart of gold who believes that the mind, body and soul are super connected. Healing happens when we align our mind, body and soul through learning how to love, cope, forgive, and create resiliency while overcoming the adversity we face. I have 10 years experience working in mental health, domestic violence, and substance use. I am graduate of the of the USC School of Social Work with an undergraduate background in Psychology from CSUDH. Tambien hablo espanol. My goal is to keep therapy simple, effective and trauma-informed. I believe that anyone can rebuild, redeem and heal themselves given the proper tools and space to redevelop a healthy self-image, genuine self-love and a driven personal purpose. I look at therapy as a conversation with a purpose! I specialize in helping clients learn to heal and manage symptoms related to trauma, including domestic violence and sexual abuse. Additionally, I specialize in helping clients work through long histories of depression, anxiety and PTSD. I have a background in substance use recovery and planning through major life transitions such as: divorce, break ups, grief and loss and post graduate plans. In my practice, I utilizes CBT, Solution Focused Therapies and Narrative Therapy in a coaching style to help my clients feel empowered and engaged to rewrite the course of their life story while giving purposeful meaning to current and past experiences.
