Tina Gonzalez is the daughter of immigrants from Mexico, a native Angeleña, a wounded healer and a student of self-compassion. She is also a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with adults with childhood trauma, experiencing life transitions, individuation and identity formation as well as those who identify as highly sensitive.

Tina completed a B.A. in Sociology at UCLA, a M.A. in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Additionally, she holds a Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling and Child Welfare and Attendance.

She has over 10 years of experience working in school-based and community mental health, first as a school counselor and later a mental health therapist in various school districts throughout Southern California with largely immigrant populations. As such, much of her work has focused on destigmatizing mental health, providing education and increasing access to mental health services via workshops, group facilitation and educational forums.
