  • About the Speaker
Hola y bienvenidos!! My name is Natalie Yvette Gutierrez, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of New York and New Jersey. I have spent my academic and professional career learning and working with survivors of abuse and trauma in both childhood and adulthood. Most of my experience has been helping survivors of sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, or abuse at the hands of caregivers as children. I have facilitated domestic violence survivor groups, AMAC Womxn Survivors Groups (Adults Molested as Children), and have obtained certification in trauma studies at Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I have also completed training in complex trauma and am currently in process for certification. I have robust knowledge in understanding relational trauma and attachment and its pervasive dynamics. I'd love to gain more experience broadening and diversifying my practice to include Speaking opportunities in the field of my growing expertise.
  • Topics

Relational Trauma, Motherhood & Parenting, Complex Trauma

I am able to share knowledge on my 9 years of practice working with survivors of sexual trauma and childhood abuse. Much of my work thus far in my private practice has been working with adults struggling through complex trauma and issues around attachment, setting boundaries, combating shame and anxiety.
