    September 2019 - California Endowment Center (Los Angeles CA) Presentation at annual Latinx mental health conference centered on how chauvinistic attitudes and toxic masculine behaviors amongst Latinx men can have detrimental effects on their relationships with family, friends, and their communities. Presentation centers on how clinical staff can engage these men in treatment to help them resolve issues impacting influencing their behavior.

    September 2018 - California Endowment Center (Los Angeles, CA) Presentation at annual Latinx mental health conference centered on utilizing community gardening as a multi-dimensional approach to addressing low engagement of Latinx communities in mental health treatment. Presentation gave background on the effectiveness of horticulture therapy as well as my experience in launching a successful gardening program for a mental health agency in Pomona, CA.
